Bluesign organizes #FWP2017

Take part in an immersive experience at the heart of floating wind turbines in France during the Floating Wind Power Atlantic Forum event, from October 2 to 4, 2017.

Led by the Brittany and Pays de la Loire Regions and operated by Bluesign, the second edition of the annual FWP (Floating Wind Power) Atlantic Forum event will be held from October 2 to 4, 2017. A site visit will be organized on the last day in Brittany.

In Pays de la Loire and in Brittany, all the ingredients are there to successfully structure the emerging industrial sector of floating wind power: geographic components, industrial assets, scientific and technical knowledge, political will. In a few weeks, the first floating wind turbine will be installed off our coast. Proof that you are here in the heart of the French territory where floating wind is lived and built every day.

This event was designed as an immersive experience in the floating wind industry. What makes it relevant are the feedback and direct confrontation with the field. The technical and interactive workshops organized at GE, STX and SEM-REV Floatgen, will give you the opportunity to discuss between experts on the technical challenges and the technological obstacles to be overcome.

Program :

  • Day 1 in Saint-Nazaire: 3 technical workshops
  • Day 2 in Saint-Nazaire: plenary conference and B2B meetings
  • Day 3 in Lorient: technical visits
